The cellar of Capleia

CAPLEIA
Unique terroir

Located in the north of Burgundy, the Chablis vineyards are based on soils rich in clay and limestone, dating back to the Kimmeridgian period.

CAPLEIA
Winemaking

After delicate pressing and fermentation, the wines are aged on fine lees, which enhances their texture and depth.

CAPLEIA
Authenticity

Each bottle from the Capleia Winery is a promise of a journey where history, nature, and excellence meet.

CAPLEIA

Chablis

The Chardonnay grapes are harvested exclusively at the place called “Les Bouchots” in the commune of Chichée.

This is the first plot acquired by our mother in 2013 but it was planted more than 50 years ago, in 1971.

With vines facing southwest, on the banks of the Serein valley, the Chichée terroir produces precise and quite pleasant wines.

A wine designed to be shared

Petit Chablis

Mineral and fruity, Petit Chablis is a pleasurable wine, ideal for any occasion. Its surprising balance combines richness and liveliness, enhanced by the iconic minerality that characterizes the great years of Chablis.

Chablis

A brilliant yellow color, a fine and intensely fruity nose, evoking white-fleshed fruits and citrus fruits. On the palate, a beautiful roundness combined with a subtle minerality, offering remarkable length.

Chablis Premier Cru

Our four Premier Crus (Fourchaume, Vaillons, Vosgros, and Vaucoupin) are located on either side of the Serein Valley. With their excellent exposure, this guarantees excellent ripeness, even in demanding vintages. Offering vibrant freshness, volume in the mouth, and a strong structure, Chablis Premier Cru is a wine of pleasure.

Chablis Grand Cru

Our Chablis Grands Crus (Les Preuses & Bougros) are the authentic signature of Chablis. Long on the palate, elegant and intensely mineral, it reaches its full potential after around ten years of aging.

More than a wine, a moment
